the heart of his servants, that I might show these my signs before him:

have wrought in Mitzrayim, and my signs which I have done among them; that you may
know how that I am YHWH.
Exo 10:3 And Moshe and Aharon came in unto Par’oh, and said unto him, Thus saith
YHWH Elohim of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let
my people go, that they may serve me.
Exo 10:4 Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow will I bring the locusts
into your coast:
Exo 10:5 And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth:
and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remains unto you from the
hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field:
Exo 10:6 And they shall fill your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses
of all the Mitzrayim; which neither your fathers, nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since
the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out
from Par’oh.

(Sunday Morning Portion)

neither after them shall be such.
Exo 10:15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and
they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and

land of Mitzrayim.

Yisra’el go.

may be darkness over the land of Mitzrayim, even darkness which may be felt.
Exo 10:22 And Moshe stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick
darkness in all the land of Mitzrayim three days:

was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

may be multiplied in the land of Mitzrayim.

Par’oh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Yisra’el go out of his land.

month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a
lamb for a house:
Exo 12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto
his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating
shall make your count for the lamb.

(Wednesday Morning Portion)

Exo 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out
from the sheep, or from the goats:
Exo 12:6 And you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole
assembly of the congregation of Yisra’el shall kill it in the evening.
Exo 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the
upper door post of the houses, where they shall eat it.
Exo 12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread;
and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Exo 12:9 Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his
legs, and with the inner parts.
Exo 12:10 And you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains
of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.

staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is YHWH’S passover.
Exo 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Mitzrayim this night, and will smite all the
firstborn in the land of Mitzrayim, both man and beast; and against all the elohim of
Mitzrayim I will execute judgment: I am YHWH.
Exo 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a sign upon the houses where you are: and when
I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Mitzrayim.
Exo 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and you shall keep it a feast to
YHWH throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.

leaven out of your houses: for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the
seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Yisra’el.
Exo 12:16 And in the first day there shall be a holy rehersal, and in the seventh day there
shall be a holy rehersal to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which
every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Yisra’el, whether
he be a stranger, or born in the land.

bread.

take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
Exo 12:22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason,
and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of
you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
Exo 12:23 For YHWH will pass through to smite the Mitzrayim; and when he sees the blood
upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, YHWH will pass over the door, and will not suffer
the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

by this service?
Exo 12:27 That you shall say, It is the sacrifice of YHWH’S passover, who passed over the

our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
Exo 12:28 And the children of Yisra’el went away, and did as YHWH had commanded
Moshe and Aharon, so did they.

Reader 6 (Thursday Evening Portion)

Exo 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight YHWH smote all the firstborn in the land of
Mitzrayim, from the firstborn of Par’oh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the
captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of beasts.
Exo 12:30 And Par’oh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Mitzrayim;
and there was a great cry in Mitzrayim; for there was not a house where there was not one
dead.
Exo 12:31 And he made a proclamation to Moshe and Aharon by night, saying, Rise up, and
get you forth from among my people, both you and the children of Yisra’el; and go, serve
YHWH, as you have said.
Exo 12:32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me
also.
Exo 12:33 And the Mitzrayim were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of
the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
Exo 12:34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs
being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
Exo 12:35 And the children of Yisra’el did according to the word of Moshe; and they asked of
the Mitzrayim jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
Exo 12:36 And YHWH gave the people favor in the sight of the Mitzrayim, when they asked.
And they spoiled the Mitzrayim.
Exo 12:37 And the children of Yisra’el journeyed from Ra’meses to Sukkot, about six
hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
Exo 12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very
much livestock.
Exo 12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of
Mitzrayim, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Mitzrayim, and could not
tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
Exo 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Yisra’el, who dwelt in Mitzrayim, was four
hundred and thirty years.
Exo 12:41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the
selfsame day it came to pass, that all the army of YHWH went out from the land of
Mitzrayim.
Exo 12:42 It is a night to be much observed unto YHWH for bringing them out from the
land of Mitzrayim: this is that night of YHWH to be observed of all the children of Yisra’el in
their generations.
Exo 12:43 And YHWH said unto Moshe and Aharon, This is the ordinance of the passover:
There shall no stranger eat thereof:
Exo 12:44 But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised
him, then shall he eat thereof.
Exo 12:45 A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat thereof.
Exo 12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth part of the flesh abroad
out of the house; neither shall you break a bone thereof.
Exo 12:47 All the congregation of Yisra’el shall keep it.
Exo 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to YHWH,
let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as
one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
Exo 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourns
among you.
Exo 12:50 Thus did all the children of Yisra’el; as YHWH commanded Moshe and Aharon,
so did they.
Exo 12:51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that YHWH did bring the children of Yisra’el
out of the land of Mitzrayim by their armies.

Reader 7 (6th Day Friday Morning Double Portion)

of Yisra’el, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
Exo 13:3 And Moshe said unto the people, Remember this day, in which you came out from
Mitzrayim, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand YHWH brought you out
from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
Exo 13:4 This day came you out in the month Aviv.
Exo 13:5 And it shall be when YHWH shall bring you into the land of the Kena’ani, and the

Exo 13:6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast
to YHWH.
Exo 13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be
seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your quarters.
Exo 13:8 And you shall show your son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which
YHWH did unto me when I came forth out of Mitzrayim.
Exo 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto you upon your hand, and for a memorial between
your eyes, that YHWH’S law may be in your mouth: for with a strong hand has YHWH
brought you out of Mitzrayim.
Exo 13:10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
Exo 13:11 And it shall be when YHWH shall bring you into the land of the Kena’ani, as He
swore unto you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
Exo 13:12 That you shall set apart unto YHWH all that opens the womb, and every firstling
that comes of a beast which you have; the males shall be YHWH’S.
Exo 13:13 And every firstling of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not
redeem it, then you shall break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among your children
shall you redeem.

you shall say unto him, By strength of hand YHWH brought us out from Mitzrayim, from
the house of bondage:
Exo 13:15 And it came to pass, when Par’oh would hardly let us go, that YHWH slew all the
firstborn in the land of Mitzrayim, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast:
therefore I sacrifice to YHWH all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of
my children I redeem.
Exo 13:16 And it shall be for a token upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes:
for by strength of hand YHWH brought us forth out of Mitzrayim.
