be no plague among them, when you number them.

Exo 30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel,
when they give * an offering unto YHWH, to make an atonement for your souls.
Exo 30:16 And you shall take * the atonement money of the children of Yisra’el, and shall
appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial
unto the children of Yisra’el before YHWH, to make an atonement for your souls.
Exo 30:17 And YHWH spoke unto Moshe, saying,
Exo 30:18 You shall also make a laver of copper, and his foot also of copper, to wash withal:

put water therein.
Exo 30:19 For Aharon and his sons shall wash * their hands and their feet thereat:
Exo 30:20 When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water,
that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made
by fire unto YHWH:

two hundred and fifty shekels,
Exo 30:24 And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil

shall even be cut off from his people.

onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a
like weight:
Exo 30:35 And you shall make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary,
tempered together, pure and holy:

tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with you: it shall be unto you most holy.
Exo 30:37 And as for the perfume which you shall make, you shall not make to yourselves
according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto you holy for YHWH.

his people.
(Sunday Morning Portion)
Exo 31:1 And YHWH spoke unto Moshe, saying,
Exo 31:2 See, I have called by name Betzal’el the son of Uri, the son of Chur, of the tribe of
Yahudah:
Exo 31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of Elohim, in wisdom, and in understanding,
and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
Exo 31:4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper,
Exo 31:5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all
manner of workmanship.
Exo 31:6 And I, behold, I have given with him * Oholi’av, the son of Achi’samakh, of the
tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may
make * all that I have commanded you;
Exo 31:7 * The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy
seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
Exo 31:8 And the table and his furniture, and the pure menorah with all his furniture, and
the altar of incense,
Exo 31:9 And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,

have commanded you shall they do.
Exo 31:12 And YHWH spoke unto Moshe, saying,
Exo 31:13 Speak you also unto the children of Yisra’el, saying, truly * my sabbaths you shall
keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know
that I am YHWH that does sanctify you.

defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be
cut off from among his people.
Exo 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to

sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
Exo 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Yisra’el forever: for in six days YHWH
made * heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.
Reader 2 (Sunday Evening Portion)
Exo 31:18 And He gave unto Moshe, when He had made an end of communing with him
upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of
Elohim.
Exo 32:1 And when the people saw that Moshe delayed to come down out of the mount, the
people gathered themselves together unto Aharon, and said unto him, Up, make us elohim,
which shall go before us; for as for this Moshe, the man that brought us up out of the land of
Mitzrayim, we know not what is become of him.
Exo 32:2 And Aharon said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of
your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
Exo 32:3 And all the people broke off * the golden earrings which were in their ears, and
brought them unto Aharon.
Exo 32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he
had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be your elohim, O Yisra’el, which brought
you up out of the land of Mitzrayim.
Exo 32:5 And when Aharon saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aharon made
proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to YHWH.
Exo 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought
peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
Exo 32:7 And YHWH said unto Moshe, Go, get you down; for your people, which you
brought out of the land of Mitzrayim, have corrupted themselves:
Exo 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they
have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and
said, These be your elohim, O Yisra’el, which have brought you up out of the land of
Mitzrayim.
Exo 32:9 And YHWH said unto Moshe, I have seen * this people, and, behold, it is a
stiffnecked people:
Exo 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I
may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.
Exo 32:11 And Moshe besought * YHWH his Elohim, and said, YHWH, why does your wrath
wax hot against your people, which you have brought forth out of the land of Mitzrayim with
great power, and with a mighty hand?
Exo 32:12 Wherefore should the Mitzrayim speak, and say, For mischief did He bring them
out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn
from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people.
Exo 32:13 Remember Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yisra’el, your servants, to whom you swore by
your own self, and said unto them, I will multiply * your seed as the stars of heaven, and all
this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.
Exo 32:14 And YHWH repented of the evil which He thought to do unto His people.
Exo 32:15 And Moshe turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the
testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and
on the other were they written.
Exo 32:16 And the tables were the work of Elohim, and the writing was the writing of
Elohim, graven upon the tables.
Exo 32:17 And when Yahushua heard * the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto
Moshe, There is a noise of war in the camp.
Exo 32:18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the
voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
Exo 32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came near unto the camp, that he saw * the
calf, and the dancing: and Moshe’s anger waxed hot, and he cast * the tables out of his
hands, and broke them beneath the mount.
Exo 32:20 And he took * the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground
it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made * the children of Yisra’el drink of it.
Exo 32:21 And Moshe said unto Aharon, What did this people unto you, that you have
brought so great a sin upon them?
Exo 32:22 And Aharon said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: you know * the people,
that they are set on mischief.
Exo 32:23 For they said unto me, Make us elohim, which shall go before us: for as for this
Moshe, the man that brought us up out of the land of Mitzrayim, we know not what is
become of him.
Exo 32:24 And I said unto them, Whosoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave
it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
Exo 32:25 And when Moshe saw that * the people were naked; (for Aharon had made them
naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
Exo 32:26 Then Moshe stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on YHWH’S side? let
him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
Exo 32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith YHWH Elohim of Yisra’el, Put every man his
sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every
man * his brother, and every man * his companion, and every man * his neighbor.
Exo 32:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moshe: and there fell of the
people that day about three thousand men.
Exo 32:29 For Moshe had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to YHWH, even every man
upon his son, and upon his brother; that He may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
(Monday Morning Portion)
Exo 32:30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moshe said unto the people, You have
sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto YHWH; peradventure I shall make an
atonement for your sin.
Exo 32:31 And Moshe returned unto YHWH, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great
sin, and have made them elohim of gold.
Exo 32:32 Yet now, if you will forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your
book which you have written.
Exo 32:33 And YHWH said unto Moshe, Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot
out of my book.
Exo 32:34 Therefore now go, lead * the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto
you: behold, my Angel shall go before you: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit
their sin upon them.
Exo 32:35 And YHWH plagued * the people, because they made * the calf, which Aharon
made.
Exo 33:1 And YHWH said unto Moshe, Depart, and go up from here, you and the people
which you have brought up out of the land of Mitzrayim, unto the land which I swore unto
Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya’akov, saying, Unto your seed will I give it:
Exo 33:2 And I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out * the Kena’ani, the Amori,
and the Chitti, and the Perizzi, the Chivi, and the Yevusi:
Exo 33:3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of you;
for you are a stiffnecked people: lest I consume you in the way.
Exo 33:4 And when the people heard * these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put
on him his ornaments.
Exo 33:5 For YHWH had said unto Moshe, Say unto the children of Yisra’el, You are a
stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of you in a moment, and consume you:
therefore now put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what to do unto you.
Exo 33:6 And the children of Yisra’el stripped themselves * of their ornaments by the mount
Chorev.
Exo 33:7 And Moshe took * the tabernacle, and pitched it outside the camp, afar off from the
camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one
which sought YHWH went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was outside
the camp.
Exo 33:8 And it came to pass, when Moshe went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people
rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moshe, until he was gone
into the tabernacle.
Exo 33:9 And it came to pass, as Moshe entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar
descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and YHWH talked with Moshe.
Exo 33:10 And all the people saw * the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the
people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
Exo 33:11 And YHWH spoke unto Moshe person to person, as a man speaks unto his friend.
And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Yahushua, the son of Nun, a young man,
departed not out of the tabernacle.

way, that I may know you, that I may find favor in your sight: and consider that this nation

Haftarah (Shabbat Evening Portion)
1Ki 18:1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of YHWH came to EliYahu in
the third year, saying, Go, show yourself unto Ach’av; and I will send rain upon the earth.
1Ki 18:2 And EliYahu went to show himself unto Ach’av. And there was a sore famine in
Shomron.
1Ki 18:3 And Ach’av called OvadYahu, which was the governor of his house. (Now OvadYahu
feared * YHWH greatly:
1Ki 18:4 For it was so, when Izevel cut off * the prophets of YHWH, that OvadYahu took a
hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
1Ki 18:5 And Ach’av said unto OvadYahu, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and
unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive, that we
lose not all the beasts.
1Ki 18:6 So they divided * the land between them to pass throughout it: Ach’av went one
way by himself, and OvadYahu went another way by himself.
1Ki 18:7 And as OvadYahu was in the way, behold, EliYahu met him: and he knew him, and
fell on his face, and said, Are you that my lord EliYahu?
1Ki 18:8 And he answered him, I am: go, tell your lord, Behold, EliYahu is here.
1Ki 18:9 And he said, What have I sinned, that you would deliver * your servant into the
hand of Ach’av, to slay me?
1Ki 18:10 As YHWH your Elohim lives, there is no nation or kingdom, where my lord has
not sent to seek you: and when they said, He is not there; he took an oath * of the kingdom
and nation, that they found you not.
1Ki 18:11 And now you say, Go, tell your lord, Behold, EliYahu is here.
1Ki 18:12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from you, that the Spirit of YHWH
shall carry you where I know not; and so when I come and tell Ach’av, and he cannot find
you, he shall slay me: but I your servant fear * YHWH from my youth.
1Ki 18:13 Was it not told my lord * what I did when Izebel slew * the prophets of YHWH,
how I hid a hundred men of YHWH’S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread
and water?
1Ki 18:14 And now you say, Go, tell your lord, Behold, EliYahu is here: and he shall slay me.
1Ki 18:15 And EliYahu said, As YHWH Tsebeoth lives, before whom I stand, I will surely
show myself unto him today.
1Ki 18:16 So OvadYahu went to meet Ach’av, and told him: and Ach’av went to meet
EliYahu.
1Ki 18:17 And it came to pass, when Ach’av saw * EliYahu, that Ach’av said unto him, Are
you he that troubles Yisra’el?
1Ki 18:18 And he answered, I have not troubled * Yisra’el; but you, and your father’s house,
in that you have forsaken * the commandments of YHWH, and you have followed Ba’alim.
1Ki 18:19 Now therefore send, and gather to * me all Yisra’el unto mount Carmel, and the
prophets of Ba’al four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which
eat at Izevel’s table.
1Ki 18:20 So Ach’av sent unto all the children of Yisra’el, [and gathered together * the
prophets] unto mount Carmel.
1Ki 18:21 And EliYahu came unto all the people, and said, How long halt you between two
opinions? if YHWH be Elohim, follow Him: but if Ba’al, then follow him. And the people
answered him not a word.
1Ki 18:22 Then said EliYahu unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of YHWH; but
Ba’al’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.
1Ki 18:23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for
themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress *
the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:
1Ki 18:24 And call you on the name of your elohim, and I will call on the name of YHWH:
and the Elohim that answers by fire, let him be Elohim. And all the people answered and
said, It is well spoken.
1Ki 18:25 And EliYahu said unto the prophets of Ba’al, Choose you one bullock for
yourselves, and dress it first; for you are many; and call on the name of your elohim, but put
no fire under.
1Ki 18:26 And they took * the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called
on the name of Ba’al from morning even until noon, saying, O Ba’al, hear us. But there was
no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
1Ki 18:27 And it came to pass at noon, that EliYahu mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for
he is a el; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he
sleeps, and must be awaked.
1Ki 18:28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and
lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
1Ki 18:29 And it came to pass, when mid-day was past, and they prophesied until the time of
the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any
that regarded.
1Ki 18:30 And EliYahu said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came
near unto him. And he repaired * the altar of YHWH that was broken down.
1Ki 18:31 And EliYahu took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons
of Ya’akov, unto whom the word of YHWH came, saying, Yisra’el shall be your name:
1Ki 18:32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of YHWH: and he made a trench
about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.
1Ki 18:33 And he put * the wood in order, and cut * the bullock in pieces, and laid him on
the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on
the wood.
1Ki 18:34 And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said,
Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.
1Ki 18:35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled * the trench also with water.
1Ki 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that
EliYahu the prophet came near, and said, YHWH Elohim of Avraham, Yitzchak, and of
Yisra’el, let it be known this day that you are Elohim in Yisra’el, and that I am your servant,
and that I have done * all these things at your word.
1Ki 18:37 Hear me, O YHWH, hear me, that this people may know that you are YHWH
Elohim, and that you have turned * their heart back again.
1Ki 18:38 Then the fire of YHWH fell, and consumed * the burnt sacrifice, and the wood,
and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
1Ki 18:39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, YHWH, He
is the Elohim; YHWH, He is the Elohim.
