Parashot Text with Readers and Daily Portions (Reader 1 Starts on Saturday Evening)

Nitzavim / Va’yelech “You are standing / And he went”
Deut 29:10 – 31:30 , Isaiah 61:10 – 63:9

Reader 1 (Saturday Evening Portion)

Deu 29:10 You stand this day all of you before YHWH your Elohim; your captains of your
tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Yisra’el,
Deu 29:11 Your little ones, your wives, and your stranger that is in your camp, from the hewer
of your wood unto the drawer of your water:
Deu 29:12 That you should enter into covenant with YHWH your Elohim, and into His oath,
which YHWH your Elohim makes with you this day:
Deu 29:13 That He may establish you today for a people unto Himself, and that He may be
unto you an Elohim, as He has said unto you, and as He has sworn unto you fathers, to
Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya’akov.
Deu 29:14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
Deu 29:15 But with him that stands here with us this day before YHWH your Elohim, and also
with him that is not here with us this day:
Deu 29:16 (For you know how we have dwelt in the land of Mitzrayim; and how we came through
the nations which you passed by;
Deu 29:17 And you have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and
gold, which were among them:)
Deu 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart
turns away this day from YHWH your Elohim, to go and serve the elohim of these nations;
lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood;
Deu 29:19 And it come to pass, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in
his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of my heart, to add
drunkenness to thirst:
Deu 29:20 YHWH will not spare him, but then the anger of YHWH and His jealousy shall
smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him,
and YHWH shall blot out his name from under heaven.
Deu 29:21 And YHWH shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Yisra’el, according to
all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

(Sunday Morning Portion)

Deu 29:22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the
stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land,
and the sicknesses which YHWH has laid upon it;
Deu 29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not
sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Sedom, and Amorrah,
Admah, and Tzevoyim, which YHWH overthrew in His anger, and in His wrath:
Deu 29:24 Even all nations shall say, Why has YHWH done thus unto this land? what means
the heat of this great anger?
Deu 29:25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of YHWH Elohim of
their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them forth out of the land of
Mitzrayim:
Deu 29:26 For they went and served other elohim, and worshipped them, elohim whom they
knew not, and whom He had not given unto them:
Deu 29:27 And the anger of YHWH was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses
that are written in this book:
Deu 29:28 And YHWH rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great
indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

Reader 2 (Sunday Evening Portion)

Deu 29:29 The secret things belong unto YHWH our Elohim: but those things which are
revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this
law.
Deu 30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and
the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the
nations, whither YHWH your Elohim has driven you,
Deu 30:2 And shall return unto YHWH your Elohim, and shall obey His voice according to all
that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your
soul;
Deu 30:3 That then YHWH your Elohim will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon
you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, where YHWH your Elohim has
scattered you.

(Monday Morning Portion)

Deu 30:4 If any of yours be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from there will
YHWH your Elohim gather you, and from there will He fetch you:
Deu 30:5 And YHWH your Elohim will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed,
and you shall possess it; and He will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers.
Deu 30:6 And YHWH your Elohim will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to
love YHWH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

Reader 3 (Monday Evening Portion)

Deu 30:7 And YHWH your Elohim will put all these curses upon your enemies, and on them
that hate you, which persecuted you.
Deu 30:8 And you shall return and obey the voice of YHWH, and do all His commandments
which I command you this day.
Deu 30:9 And YHWH your Elohim will make you plenteous in every work of your hand, in the
fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your beasts, and in the fruit of your land, for good: for
YHWH will again rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your fathers:
Deu 30:10 If you shall hearken unto the voice of YHWH your Elohim, to keep His
commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if you turn
unto YHWH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul.

(Tuesday Morning Portion)

Deu 30:11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you,
neither is it far off.
Deu 30:12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring
it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Deu 30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us,
and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Deu 30:14 But the word is very near unto you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may
do it.

Reader 4 (Tuesday Evening Portion)

Deu 30:15 See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil;
Deu 30:16 In that I command thee this day to love YHWH your Elohim, to walk in His ways,
and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and
multiply: and YHWH your Elohim shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it.
Deu 30:17 But if your heart turn away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and
worship other elohim, and serve them;
Deu 30:18 I declare unto you this day, that you shall surely perish, and that you shall not
prolong your days upon the land, where you pass over Yarden to go to possess it.
Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you, that I have set before you life
and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live:
Deu 30:20 That you may love YHWH your Elohim, and that you may obey His voice, and that
you may cleave unto Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell
in the land which YHWH swore unto your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya’akov,
to give them.

(Wednesday Morning Portion)

Deu 31:1 And Moshe went and spoke these words unto all Yisra’el.
Deu 31:2 And he said unto them, I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more
go out and come in: also YHWH has said unto me, You shall not go over this Yarden.
Deu 31:3 YHWH your Elohim, He will go over before you, and He will destroy these nations
from before you, and you shall possess them: and Yahushua, he shall go over before you, as
YHWH has said.
Deu 31:4 And YHWH shall do unto them as He did to Sichon and to Og, kings of the Amori, and
unto the land of them, whom He destroyed.
Deu 31:5 And YHWH shall give them up before your face, that you may do unto them according
unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.
Deu 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for YHWH your
Elohim, He it is that does go with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you.

Reader 5 (Wednesday Evening Portion)

Deu 31:7 And Moshe called unto Yahushua, and said unto him in the sight of all Yisra’el, Be
strong and of a good courage: for you must go with this people unto the land which YHWH
has sworn unto their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.
Deu 31:8 And YHWH, He it is that does go before you; He will be with you, He will not fail you,
neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Deu 31:9 And Moshe wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which
bore the ark of the covenant of YHWH, and unto all the elders of Yisra’el.

(Thursday Morning Portion)

Deu 31:10 And Moshe commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the
solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
Deu 31:11 When all Yisra’el is come to appear before YHWH your Elohim in the place which He
shall choose, you shall read this law before all Yisra’el in their hearing.
Deu 31:12 Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and your stranger that is
within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear YHWH your
Elohim, and observe to do all the words of this law:
Deu 31:13 And that their children, which have not known anything, may hear, and learn to fear
YHWH your Elohim, as long as you live in the land where you go over Yarden to possess it.

Reader 6 (Thursday Evening Portion)

Deu 31:14 And YHWH said unto Moshe, Behold, your days approach that you must die: call
Yahushua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him
a charge. And Moshe and Yahushua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the
congregation.
Deu 31:15 And YHWH appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the
cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.
Deu 31:16 And YHWH said unto Moshe, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this
people will rise up, and go a whoring after the elohim of the strangers of the land, where
they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made
with them.
Deu 31:17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and
I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall
befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our
Elohim is not among us?
Deu 31:18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have
wrought, in that they are turned unto other elohim.
Deu 31:19 Now therefore write you this song for you, and teach it the children of Yisra’el: put it
in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Yisra’el.
Deu 31:20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I swore unto their fathers,
that flows with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen
fat; then will they turn unto other elohim, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my
covenant.
Deu 31:21 And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this
song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of
their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have
brought them into the land which I sw0re.

Reader 7 (6th Day Friday Morning  Double Portion)

Deu 31:22 Moshe therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Yisra’el.
Deu 31:23 And he gave Yahushua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good
courage: for you shall bring the children of Yisra’el into the land which I swore unto them:
and I will be with you.
Deu 31:24 And it came to pass, when Moshe had made an end of writing the words of this law
in a book, until they were finished,
Deu 31:25 That Moshe commanded the Levi’im, which bore the ark of the covenant of YHWH,
saying,
Deu 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of YHWH
your Elohim, that it may be there for a witness against you.
Deu 31:27 For I know your rebellion, and your stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you
this day, you have been rebellious against YHWH; and how much more after my death?
Deu 31:28 Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these
words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
Deu 31:29 For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside
from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days;
because you will do evil in the sight of YHWH, to provoke him to anger through the work of
your hands.
Deu 31:30 And Moshe spoke in the ears of all the congregation of Yisra’el the words of this
song, until they were ended.

Haftarah (Shabbat Evening Portion)

Isa 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in YHWH, my soul shall be joyful in my Elohim; for He has
clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of
righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself
with her jewels.
Isa 61:11 For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are
sown in it to spring forth; so YHWH Elohim will cause righteousness and praise to spring
forth before all the nations.
Isa 62:1 For Tziyon’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Yahrushalayim’s sake I will not rest,
until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp
that burns.

called by a new name, which the mouth of YHWH shall name.
Isa 62:3 You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of YHWH, and a royal diadem in the
hand of your Elohim.
Isa 62:4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed
Desolate: but you shall be called Cheftzi-Bah, and your land Beulah: for YHWH delights in
you, and your land shall be married.
Isa 62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the
bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your Elohim rejoice over you.
Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Yahrushalayim, which shall never hold their
peace day nor night: you that make mention of YHWH, keep not silence,
Isa 62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Yahrushalayim a praise in the
earth.
Isa 62:8 YHWH has sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength, Surely I will no
more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not
drink your wine, for the which you have labored:
Isa 62:9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise YHWH; and they that have
brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare you the way of the people; cast up, cast up
the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Tziyon, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before

called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? I that speak in
righteousness, mighty to save.
Isa 63:2 Wherefore art thou red in your apparel, and your garments like him that treads in the
winefat?
Isa 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I
will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled
upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
Isa 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
Isa 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to
uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
Isa 63:6 And I will tread down the people in my anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I
will bring down their strength to the earth.
Isa 63:7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of YHWH, and the praises of YHWH, according to
all that YHWH has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Yisra’el,
which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of
His lovingkindnesses.
Isa 63:8 For He said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so He was their
Savior.
Isa 63:9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them: in His
love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of
old.
